A huge shoutout to Judith Stuchbury for donating Hatch Saves the Reef books- (www.hatchsavesthereef.com) to the students at St Mary's Catholic Primary School Mackay for being the one of the Primary school winners of the Eco Challenge 2024! This year's Eco Challenge involved using gamification to design a product that encourages users to adopt pro-environmental behaviours that will aid the survival of Earth's aquatic species. The Eco Hero's students at St Mary's were the winners of the physical submission category for their entry ‘Buddy’ which encompasses fun, education, practical, positive and active action and motivation for positive behaviour change. Congratulations once again to St Mary's Mackay students for your creativity and dedication in encouraging others to care for the Reef.
